On November 13, 2025 at 4:00 PM, as part of the official events of BookCity Milano, the video interview “Against the Pelecidium” will be presented – an intense dialogue exploring the themes of the book “The Pelecidium – Why It Is Morally Right to Criticize Israel” (Multimage APS, 2025).

https://youtu.be/e87H_EP8CKY, was produced with the free patronage of the Municipality of Erice, which provided the evocative Teatro Gebel Hamed as the filming location.
The format takes the shape of a cultural show that weaves together different languages:
– the words of the author Luca Sciacchitano,
– the theatrical interpretation of Gaspare Balsamo,
– the journalistic contribution of Giacomo Di Girolamo (Tp24),
– the music of violinist Mauro Carpi,
– and pianist Tony Terrasi.
An event that brings together literature, journalism, music and theatre, offering reflections on the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and on the need for a critical and informed public debate.
The book presents a clear and well-documented reading of Israel’s role, inviting readers to expand the boundaries of public discourse and distinguish the right to critique from instrumental accusations of antisemitism.
